What you should know:
In 2017 we heard from a friend that the last remaining owner of Garner Printing, James Garner, was looking to take his much deserved retirement. What is Garner Printing you might ask? Garner Printing was a family owned outdoor advertising print shop that has been a part of the local community for 60+ years. While you may not have heard of them, their clientele knows them as an extended part of the family and they have been doing business together for over 30 years. Garner Printing was printing large format prints back before there was digital printing and they are well-known in their industry. We are excited to announce that Garner Printing has now become a part of 10:9 Design LLC.
We have already been asked why we didn’t just advertise an added service and drop the name. The answer to that question is simple. Legacy. 60 year old companies are few and far between in the business world. One family put over half a century into building, growing and sustaining a business that has served clients relentlessly from day 1. Plus, if you know anything about 10:9 Design then you know we are family owned and operated as well. It is something we take great pride in. When we heard about Garner Printing we were very excited to be a part of a transition that would mean a great name didn’t die. Our #1 goal is to take very good care of the existing clientele while ushering a great name into a new era of technology.
